What is WPC:
WPC(Wood plastic composite) is panel or lumber product made of wood fiber/wood flour and thermoplastics. WPC is relatively new products as compared to the long history of natural lumber or traditional wood composites such as particleboard or fiberboard.
The surface of WPC can be coated with films to make the product changeable. There are various colors, imitation wood, wallpaper, marble and other different colors. WPC is widely used in the decoration industry because of its changeable shape and various colors.
Production:
WPCs are produced by thoroughly mixing ground wood particles and heated thermoplastic resin.
The most common method of production is to extrude the material into the desired shape, though injection molding is also used.
The production process is as follows: raw material mixing → raw material granulation → batching → drying → extrusion → vacuum cooling and shaping → pulling and cutting → inspection and packaging → packaging and storage

WPC is a new type of material that is more economical, environmentally friendly, healthier and energy-saving than solid wood.
